Gedanken zum Text

In diesem Psalm sind viele Möglichkeiten aufgezählt, wie und warum wir Gott loben sollen.

Ich liebe es aus ganzem Herzen, Gott zu loben.

Es gibt 2 Verse aus diesem Text, die bei mir besonderen Anklang gefunden haben.

Vers 4 von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht werden deine Werke gerühmt.

Also, durch Sagen und Handeln - schließe ich mal daraus- werden die Werke gerühmt, denn Lesen konnten die wenigsten und Bücher gab es ja für die Allgemeinheit erst viel später.

Vers 21 Mein Mund soll den Ruhm des HERRN verkünden, und alles Fleisch lobe seinen heiligen Namen immer und ewiglich!

Für mich bedeutete es, wir Menschen loben Gott in unseren zeitgemäßen Worten.

Ich lese Bibeltexte und prüfe sie danach gerne auf ihre Aktualität für mich. Ich frage mich: Was will mir Gott sagen? Was ist die Quintessenz die dahinter steht?

Daher bin ich kein Freund davon, einfach Dinge anzunehmen, sondern muss in mir drin, in Verbindung mit Gott, ganz klar ihre Bedeutung für mich spüren. Mir würde es nicht weiterhelfen, nur weil etwas in der Bibel steht, dies dann sozusagen unreflektiert und Wort für Wort in meinem Leben umzusetzen. Dann wäre ich gefühlt so etwas wie eine Marionette.

Gut, …. Marionette Gottes… es kann einen wirklich schlimmer treffen 😄

Aber lieber möchte ich lebendig, eben mit jeder Faser meiner selbst und möglichst angefüllt vom hl. Geist, versuchen Gottes Plan zu leben.

Puh das ist zwar für den Alltag bisschen dick aufgetragen, aber es entspricht doch meinem Wunsch. Ich muss die lebendige Verbindung zu Gott spüren. Dann dringen die Texte der Bibel tief. Dann bewegen, begeistern sie mich und sind brandaktuell.

In der Bibel stehen meines Erachtens viele Texte, die

göttlich inspiriert sind,
von inspirierten Menschen ihrer Zeit geschrieben wurden,
Immer wieder einige wenige Hauptthemen wiederholen (ich nenne sie für mich mal Quintessenz).

Es ist für mich eines der wahren Wunder, das diese alten Texte heute noch genauso wirkungsvoll und noch genauso aktuell sind, wie damals.

Gott berührt uns heute wie damals und durch alle Zeit.

Thoughts on the text

In this psalm, there are many ways of how and why we should praise God.

I love it with all my heart to praise God.

There are 2 verses from this text, which have been particularly appealing to me.

Verse 4 from generation to generation your works are praised.

So, I think it means by saying and acting. Because reading and books were only available to the general public much later.

Verse 21 My mouth shall proclaim the glory of the LORD, and all flesh shall praise his holy name forever and ever.

For me it means, we people praise God in our contemporary words.

I read Bibeltexte (i dont know the english wordfor this) and then check them for their timeliness for me. I wonder what God wants say to me? What is the quintessence behind it?

Therefore, I am not a friend of simply accepting things. In connection with God,i must clearly feel its meaning for me. I don’t wanna do things just because they are written in the Blible. Then I would feel something like a marionette.

Ok, …. Marionette of God ... it can make a really worse ;) But I would rather live, with every fiber of myself and if possible filled by the Holy Spirit. Try to live God's plan.

In the Bible, I think many texts are:

1. Divinely inspired.

2. Written by inspired people of their time.

3. Always repeat a few main topics. (I call it quintessence for me)

For me it is one of the true miracles that these old texts are still as effective today as they were then.
